{"id":1410,"date":"2024-12-02T20:44:36","date_gmt":"2024-12-03T01:44:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madebyhazelrigg.com\/?p=1410"},"modified":"2024-12-02T20:47:05","modified_gmt":"2024-12-03T01:47:05","slug":"where-am-i","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madebyhazelrigg.com\/index.php\/2024\/12\/02\/where-am-i\/","title":{"rendered":"Where am i?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-layout-1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>So I&#8217;m still in Tennessee and not going to be a missionary in Papua New Guinea.<br><br>Instead I&#8217;m in the process of launching a new ministry <a href=\"http:\/\/https\/\/guiildministry.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">The Guild<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" src=\"http:\/\/madebyhazelrigg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Guild-Logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1405\" style=\"width:176px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/madebyhazelrigg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Guild-Logo.png 500w, https:\/\/madebyhazelrigg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Guild-Logo-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/madebyhazelrigg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Guild-Logo-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>So what all went down?<br><br>In the last 6 months I:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Sold my house<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sold\/donated majority of my items<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Began building and living in a tiny house (in progress)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut back my hours at work (and pay)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to work on launching a new ministry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s been nothing but a roller-coaster ride emotionally and spiritually and perhaps I can share those in later posts.<br><br>But for now, I am just thankful for all my friends that have made this new pursuit possible; from taking me and my two 70lbs golden retrievers in for almost 3 months while building the house, braving the sweltering sauna condition inside the tiny house in mid summer heat and humidity of East Tennessee to lend me a hand, the encouragements and check-ups to make sure I was still alive during the hottest days.  <br><br>No lie, I&#8217;m exhausted and the roller-coaster still rolls on.<br>But I believe in the mission of <a href=\"https:\/\/guildministry.com\" title=\"\">The Guild<\/a> and pray God uses me to help equip Christians with new skills and opportunities for them to serve their neighbors and <em>be <\/em>the answer to prayers within their community to all corners of the world!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m not going to Papua New Guinea now.
